Boosting Local Care Workforce

The Australian Government has been assisting businesses to build their workforce capabilities to effectively operate in the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) through Transitional Assistance Funding of up to $20,000. 

 

If you have received notice that your funding is approved, we welcome the opportunity to submit a proposal to support you in meeting the needs outlined in your Readiness Plan. We are committed to increasing the social and economic opportunity for people with disability in our community and believe the best way to help you and deliver the value you deserve is in-person. 

To ensure we can provide the suite of professional services that will best assist you in successfully meeting your transition assistance funding reporting requirements Projects for Purpose has partnered with Audit Assure, headed by Dana Murphy.

Dana Murphy is a Chartered Accountant who provides independent audit and audit readiness services to approximately 150 clients around Australia. Her previous experience was acting as a Director in Deloitte where she formed part of the leadership team supporting 80 staff that delivered assurance and advisory services to Government Statutory Bodies, not-for-profit organisations and companies listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. She has assisted management in responding to strategic and financial risks in various governance and risk management activities and has expertise in:

  • Extensive (over 18 years) experience in auditing and accounting standards

  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time

  • A pragmatic approach to the resolution of issues

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

Dana’s experience extends to:

  • Gap analysis relating to accounting standards, internal controls, governance, budgeting and financial reporting

  • Enhancements to risk management frameworks, policies and procedures and risk registers

  • Training and development
