EOFY Resources to help you plan and deliver quality products and services in 2022 and beyond.
End of Financial Year!
It’s a time to wade through the maze of mid-year budgets, finances, and auditing for all of us. But it's also a time to take stock of what we have achieved so far and figure out what challenges we need to tackle in future.
Do you need some inspiration and clarity to help you meet your mission in 2022 and 2023?
Here are some of our go-tos and resources we have developed with our project partners to help you with your challenges for the year ahead.
Delivering great projects
Many organisations have projects underway where outcomes aren't living up to expectations or deadlines are sliding past the intended completion date. Effective project management is critical to the success of any community services organisation.

A+ Quality Audit preparation
Quality Audits can be daunting and time-consuming. But they don’t have to be!
Audits are crucial to meeting our contractual demands and understanding how we can better work alongside our community to improve people's quality of life.
Projects for Purpose has worked with the Workability QLD Consortium and QCOSS to create free resources to help you with your next NDIS and HSQF audit. The e-learning program will help you pass your next NDIS Quality and Safeguards audit with flying colours.

Review your Governance practices
Developing and applying effective governance practices can be a real challenge for many organisations, particularly small to medium size charities.
One of our favourite ways to get re-acquainted with the fundamentals of good governance is the “Take me to your Board” Podcast developed by the Tasmanian Council of Social Service (TASCOSS). The Podcast applies the ten not-for-profit governance principles of the Australian Institute of Company Directors to real-world situations.

Be friends with the tax office
And finally, we all know that we want a great refund on our own tax at this time of year, and that means “deductions”!
But we also don’t want to run foul of the ATO.
Don’t let bad advice from your favourite finfluencer or something you heard at the weekend BBQ get you into trouble - the Australian Taxation Office has clear explainers on what can and can’t be claimed when you are lodging your return.
